A waterfall from order value to profit
Order value, less tax, refunds, RTO, product cost, shipping and handling, and payment fees, gives contribution before marketing. Less ad spend gives contribution after marketing: the number that tells you whether growth is paying for itself.
Actual costs, labelled honestly
Where your data has them, Gran uses them: product cost from Shopify, freight from courier invoices, fees from Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU, PhonePe PG or Easebuzz, RTO measured on settled orders. Each line says whether it is actual, part actual or estimated, so nobody mistakes an assumption for a fact.
Explain this change
Click any number and Gran breaks the move down: fewer orders or a lower order value, new or returning customers, prepaid or COD, which products and which sources moved most. The question a founder asks in every review, answered before it is asked.
Prepaid against COD
Contribution per order for prepaid and cash on delivery side by side, after RTO, so the real cost of COD has a number on it. Plus regions and the discount codes that sold, and what each one cost.
What changed, ranked by money
Home lists the week’s changes ranked by their effect on profit, each with roughly what it is worth a month and the fix to make. Add one to Gran Decisions, mark it done, and Gran checks 14 days later whether it worked.
Targets and pacing
Set the month’s revenue, orders, spend and profit targets. Gran projects where the month will land from your own daily pattern and gives the daily run rate that closes the gap.
