Gran is in beta. Every number is checked against your store, and your notes shape what we build next.

Changelog

What shipped in Gran, newest first. Inside the app, the same notes appear under What’s new, each with a short tour.

  1. Your P&L starts at GMV

    • Where the money went starts at GMV (units at MRP), then markdown from MRP and coupons, down to the CM1 to CM3 ladder.
    • Discount as a share of GMV by day and by product.
    • MRP from Shopify compare-at or listing price, or your own; a change applies from the day it happens.
  2. The tricky orders, handled, and a fairer trial and band

    • ₹0 replacements and exchanges no longer count as orders or lower AOV; their costs still count.
    • On part-prepaid, part-COD orders only the cash due on delivery is treated as at risk of RTO.
    • A COD order returned to origin weeks later marks its day as changed.
    • The Pro trial starts when your first profit report is ready and pauses for up to three days if your store connection breaks.
    • Price bands follow sales averaged over the last three complete months; Scale includes 10 seats and Enterprise has no seat limit.
  3. Exact to the paisa, and a history for every order

    • Every P&L line is worked in whole paise, so the daily chart, the tiles, the P&L, the Brief and exports agree to the last paisa; product and ad spend splits add up exactly.
    • Refunds follow their status at the payment gateway: failed refunds no longer lower revenue, and pending ones are marked.
    • Every version of every order is kept, so a past day that changes says what changed and when.
  4. Every number explains itself

    • Every number on Home and the dashboards opens a drawer written for it: what moved it, the sum behind it, how sure Gran is, when each source last synced, and the one fix that would make it exact.
    • Numbers say when they are estimated, partial or pending, on screen, in the Brief and in Excel exports.
  5. Your P&L, the way Indian brands read it

    • Where the money went steps from order value to net revenue, gross margin (CM1), contribution before marketing (CM2) and profit after marketing (CM3), then EBITDA, with each margin as a share of net revenue.
    • Home, Gran Profit, the Brief and exports take every number’s name and meaning from one definition, so they always match.
    • Export → Excel on Overview includes the P&L as its own sheet.
  6. A new Gran, and attribution you can check

    • A new interface: one sidebar for everything, a bottom bar on phones, new type and colour, light by default with dark on request.
    • Meta orders are counted from Meta’s own tags, placements and campaign, ad set and ad IDs, so they no longer fall into organic social.
    • Attribution shows how sure it is, what to fix in your tracking, and how every source was sorted, which you can change in one click.
  7. Gran Tests, and what spend does beyond its own clicks

    • Gran Tests suggests and plans the tests your data points to (pausing ads or COD in high-RTO states, lower Google brand bids, a Meta geo holdout), watches a guardrail daily and reads each result against a control, with a range.
    • Journeys shows whether Meta spend lifts branded searches and Google brand, direct and organic sales, and marks links that only hold on sale days as unproven.
    • Extra orders after each email, WhatsApp send and influencer post, and a budget simulator built on each channel’s diminishing returns.
  8. Gran Journeys: who starts a sale, and who closes it

    • Journeys splits the same sales under data-driven, last click, first click, position-based and linear models, beside what each platform reports, built from the visits Shopify records behind each order.
    • Gran recommends a model and says why; make any model your default and ROAS on Gran Ads follows it.
    • See which channels start, help and close sales, the paths that sell most, and where last click alone would mislead a budget call.
  9. Influencers, by what they really cost

    • Each influencer gets one ledger: fees, gifted product, retainer, commission and the ads run on their content, against the sales Gran verifies from their links and codes.
    • Tracked short links that count clicks and keep working whatever happens to your plan.
    • A ranking by return on full cost with a next step for each, and monthly payout statements; codes used from coupon sites are flagged and left out.
  10. What WhatsApp and email really bring in

    • Klaviyo, Mailchimp and Brevo connect for each campaign’s sends and the revenue the platform credits to it.
    • Gran Ads shows WhatsApp and email side by side: cost, what each platform claims, the revenue in orders it actually touched, last touch, and ROAS.
    • WhatsApp usage files can carry the revenue the platform credits, for the same comparison.
  11. WhatsApp and email costs, and the visits behind each order

    • WhatsApp and email platforms (KwikEngage, Gupshup, Interakt, Wati, Klaviyo, Brevo and more) add their plan and message costs to marketing, so MER and profit after marketing include them.
    • Gran reads the sessions Shopify records before every order: the groundwork for showing which channel starts a sale and which closes it.
    • Pro trials start at the first data sync, and finishing setup earns extra days.
  12. More gateways, couriers and every other cost

    • PayU, PhonePe PG and Easebuzz connect for real gateway fees and GST, alongside Razorpay and Cashfree.
    • Shipway and ClickPost bring shipment status and RTO; ClickPost sends each status as it happens.
    • Fee, invoice and settlement reports from any provider, and cost rules such as 2.5% of prepaid orders, so GoKwik, Shopflo and every other charge reach the P&L.
    • Order history uploads show each stage, survive a dropped connection and carry on where they stopped.
  13. Teams and two-step sign-in

    • Pro accounts can invite up to five people, each with their own sign-in and a role: admin, editor or viewer, checked by Gran on every change.
    • An activity log shows who changed costs, mapping, targets and connections.
    • Two-step verification with an authenticator app, recovery codes and trusted browsers; owners can require it for the whole team.
    • A list of signed-in devices, with sign out everywhere.
    • A security pass across exports, sign-in, sessions, logs and the page fetcher.
  14. Easier on a phone

    • Products and costs and ad spend mapping work as cards on phones and tablets, with no sideways scrolling.
    • Unsaved changes, drawers, messages and buttons sit where a thumb expects them, above the bottom bar.
    • Connections has jump links to each kind of account.
    • Signed in, every Gran page offers your dashboard instead of a sign-up.
  15. Check the numbers, cost history and exports

    • Check the numbers: Gran asks Shopify, Meta and Google for the same dates and compares order by order and day by day, then reads again anything it is missing.
    • Costs with dates: a changed cost applies from today, from a date, or to every past order, so a supplier price rise leaves past margins alone.
    • Excel and PDF exports of any dashboard view.
    • Send feedback from any page, and founder beta invites.
    • Shopify test orders are left out of every number.
  16. Ad spend by product, and setup in five steps

    • Ad spend mapping goes below the campaign: Meta ad sets and ads, Google ad groups and Performance Max asset groups can each point at their own product. The most specific mapping wins.
    • Mappings follow a campaign by its ID, so renaming it keeps the mapping.
    • Home shows five setup steps, from connecting your store to setting targets.
    • Ad set, ad group and Shopping detail fills back 12 months.
    • The sample brand now has a filled-in catalogue: a pack, a bundle and campaigns mapped to products.
  17. Products and costs

    • Your whole catalogue from Shopify, ranked by revenue, with Shopify’s unit cost where you keep one.
    • One product sheet for costs as sold, groups, short names, pack sizes and bundle contents. Upload it back and check every change before it saves.
    • Packs and bundles cost themselves from their contents.
    • Re-import everything rebuilds a store from scratch.
  18. Gran Pro, and six workspaces with names

    • Gran Profit, Gran Ads, Gran Products, Gran Customers, Gran Delivery and Gran Search: each answers one question about the business.
    • Every new account starts with a Gran Pro trial, no card. Gran Free keeps Home, Gran Profit and Gran Ads for the last 7 days.
    • The morning email is now the Gran Brief: every morning on Pro, every Monday on Free.
  19. Discount codes and invoices

    • Discount codes on the pricing page: enter one and the price updates before you pay.
    • An invoice for every payment, downloadable from Credits and plan, with your company and tax ID.
  20. Delivery, payments and a guided tour

    • Gran Delivery: settled RTO by courier, state and pincode, delivery speed, first-attempt delivery and COD remittance.
    • Shiprocket, Delhivery, NimbusPost and iThink Logistics connections, courier invoice uploads, and Razorpay and Cashfree fees.
    • Actual shipping, RTO and gateway costs in the P&L, each line labelled actual or estimated.
    • A guided tour of the app, and safer email sign-in that survives email security scanners.
  21. Products, customers and the decision layer

    • Explain this change: click any number to see what drove it.
    • Gran Products: a P&L for every product, profit share and what sells together.
    • Gran Customers: seven segments, repeat timing and cohorts.
    • Decisions: add a recommendation to Gran Decisions and Gran checks 14 days after it is done whether it worked.
    • Monthly targets and pacing, and the morning email.
  22. A new home for your numbers

    • Home: today so far, the week in six numbers, and what changed.
    • A live dashboard with every view of the business on one date range.
    • The command bar: press Ctrl K anywhere.
    • Tools on shivasharma.co open with your own last 30 days filled in.
Gran.
